The Capstone Hotel Apartments are located adjacent to the Hotel but with their own entrance. On the second floor, the apartment features 2 bedrooms both with en-suite facilities, a large lounge with a dining area and a large kitchen. The building is a level walk to all Ilfracombes attractions. The beds have clean crisp white linen, complimented with fluffy towels and modern accessories such as LCD TVs and DVD players. The Capstone Hotel Apartments are situated seconds walk to the beautiful Harbour. Ilfracombes local attractions are a level walk away making it the perfect base to start and end your journey, local ferries whisk the visitor away to the magical Lundy Island for an exciting day trip. Within a very short drive away is North Devons dramatic coastline and Exmoor national park. The Apartments are located close to two major car parks making it easy for you to leave your car in a safe environment. We offer a friendly welcome to families and groups who are wanting a break in North Devon. Next door to the apartments is the Hotel and Restaurant which have been fully refurbished to offer a wide choice of cuisine influenced from around the world. On special we have Lobster caught off Ilfracombes harbour, brought to us by a local fisherman, as well as meats from local butchers. A recent journalist commented: the steak melted in my mouth like ice cream in the summer sun and the home cooked chips were cooked to perfection. Our restaurant is featured in North Devon Food and Drink, as well as Devon Food and Drink guide. Next door to the Restaurant we have the cool Cafe Bar - where some say, you get the best coffee in town! Our guests can also sit by our picture windows on comfortable Chesterfield sofas and just watch the world go by with a glass in one hand and a meze plate by their side. The Restaurant and Cafe Bar are the newest addition to Ilfracombes growing culinary scene. There are many excellent dining experiences to be had in Ilfracombe which is beginning to be recognised as a foodie destination. Ilfracombe is the largest coastal resort in North Devon, but that should not fool you. It is a lovely small town full of character and beauty and a fantastic base from which to explore the many delights of North Devon. The town itself has a lovely victorian beach which is accessed through tunnels, the Landmark theatre with its superb offering of shows and an award winning Aquarium. The Harbour is a jaw dropping sight with fantastic views as far as Wales on a clear summers day. The Capstone hotel is mere moments level walking distance to the attractions. We are also at the foot of some glorious coastal walks that stretch out for miles! For the more adventurous traveler, surfing is the main sport of choice, and the beautiful surfing beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton are close by. On warm summer days just relaxing on these beaches and watching the surfers ride the waves can be exhilarating enough. North Devon is a destination for everyone, and great for family breaks, The Capstone Hotel and Restaurant is centrally located - to make things just that little bit easier.
